(Washington, DC – April 20, 2013) – Galileo Analytics this week joined a select group of health and medical technology innovators within The Hive at TEDMED 2013. The Hive was part of a new effort this year by TEDMED in association with The StartUp Health Network to highlight innovation-driven companies, entrepreneurs and researchers who are transforming the way we understand health and prevent and treat disease.
Galileo Analytics Co-Founders Simon Fitall and Anna McCollister-Slipp were on site at The Hive, providing demonstrations of the Galileo Cosmos™ visual data exploration and advanced analytics platform to the TEDMED delegates, who represent some of the leading minds in health, medicine, technology, design and entrepreneurship.
TEDMED is an annual gathering of a multi-disciplinary community of 1,800 innovators and leaders who are selected to attend the conference, based on their shared determination to create a better future in health and medicine. Hosted each Spring at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, the four-day program features artistic performances and brief, thought-provoking talks that celebrate the power of unexpected connections to create important new possibilities.
